Eurofight

The Eurofight Technical Arrangement (TA) provides a single multilateral framework within which aircraft of participating nations will train together to improve operational capabilities and mutual understanding in Air Defence.
The following types of missions are carried out under Eurofight:
- Practice Intercepts (PI);
- Air Combat Training or Dissimilar Air Combat Training (ACT/DACT);
- Mixed Force Fighter Operations (MFFO).
The purpose is to:
- Promote air defence co-ordination, co-operation and standardisation between units the EAG nations;
- Provide a single framework for a participant that facilitates combined air defence training;
- Allow air defence aircrews of each nation to cross-train with aircrews and intercept controllers of other participants.
Each EUROFIGHT consists of between two (as an absolute minimum) and four missions to be flown over 2 days, involving an overnight stop. However, it is the responsibility of the POCs concerned to define the number of missions to be flown on a case by case basis in each EUROFIGHT. The host unit will provide the overall mission commander who will be responsible for developing the mission scenario(s).
The POC list of the Eurofight TA is also available.
