Garlic lemon
The Garlic Lemon Technical Arrangement (TA) makes provision for French and UK operational units to access the Low Flying Systems (LFS) of each other’s country.
Training sorties under the auspices of GARLIC LEMON involve low level flight in either UK or FR LFS and may include affiliation and practice weaponry at established air-to-ground weapon ranges, together with electronic warfare training against specifically approved ground-based systems.
MISSION AIM AND OBJECTIVES:
- To enhance tactical flying training for United Kingdom and French operational aircrews on a reciprocal basis;
- To facilitate access to the other nation’s LFS while ensuring compliance with rules and regulations;
- To enhance understanding and interoperability between flying units of both nations.
