CIS

The Communications and Information Systems (CIS) Area is commited to enhancing the capabilities of the EAG Nations in order to enable them to operate together through the set up, whenever required, of a MN CIS architecture in which the respective systems and equipment are integrated. Doing so in real operations would allow the effective sharing of expensive national CIS assets (eg SATCOM), thus reducing the footprint that each Nation is required to field.
CIS activities encompass:
- CIS Meetings where Projects are reviewed;
- CIS Workshops aimed at improving interoperability;
- CIS Projects;
- EUROVOX
- Comms Equipment Manual
- CRYPTO Manual
- SATCOM Manual
- Ground to Ground Radio Manual
- Multinational CIS Helpdesk
- Site Survey Manual
- Unmanned Air Systems (UAS) in European Airspace
- VOLCANEX exercises to set up MN CIS architecture in an operational scenario;
- Manuals and SOPs for both planners and final users.
