Aim
The aim of the project is to collect information concerning all interoperable Crypto equipment available within the EAG community. An interoperability matrix has been built up as a result of the Bench Tests and exercises carried out under the auspices of the EAG. All the configurations as tested and validated during such events along with any relevant technical data are as well contained in the Crypto manual.

Crypto Manual
The aim is to provide planners with information to achieve interoperability with their national Crypto equipment in a multinational environment. In addition, it should be considered as a guide to aid technicians with connection and configuration procedures, thus optimising resources in the field. It is composed of two Volumes:
- Volume 1: Aims to provide the minimum guidelines for general policy and organisation. It includes a standing procedure for the Crypto material production procedures and distribution and Crypto material storage instructions.
- Volume 2: Two matrixes identify all interoperable Crypto equipment including Type, Nationality and Data Rates of Transmission. Included, in table form, are technical details regarding tests of Channel and High-speed Encryption devices.
Because of its classification, the manual is to be requested to the CIS area of the EAG CIS Area.The details of the originator of the request must be included along with the rational behind it.
