NATO is currently reviewing most of the logistics doctrine and publications. As a result of the outputs produced in recent years, the EAG is contributing to the international fora by harmonizing and rewriting some of the existing documents.

AJP 3.3.4.

The EAG is a member of the new AJP 3.3.4 writing team and  also coordinates the overall structure and format of the subordinate ATPs. The EAG CATO concept and definitions were accepted and embedded in the draft of the new doctrine AJP.3.3.4.

ATP 3.3.4.1.

The EAG was formally requested by NSA to take the lead of the Writing team for this work thus becoming the leading body within NATO/International community on this specific field. The first meeting was hosted by the ItAF HQ in Rome on 23/24 Sep 09 and the study draft was half completed. The final draft was completed during the meeting held in Italy in Feb 10 and the final version was  presented to the NSA and  NATO ATP, through the EAG COS, in March  2010.
