AVMED AE CATALOGUE

EAG AE CATALOGUE
In 2001 the first Aviation Medicine meeting was held chaired by the EAG to enhance the ability of member nations to work together. As a result, a Technical Arrangement concerning Air Force activities in the field of Aviation Medicine (AV MED TA) was signed in 2005. The Aviation Medicine Coordination Board (AV MED CB) is a committee comprising specialist representatives of each EAG nation, which plans and supervises the overall activities under the AV MED TA.
The aim of the catalogue is, for the EAG nations, to share information on the Aeromedical Evacuation (AE) area.
This catalogue is intended to make planners aware of the AE capabilities of each EAG nation. Additionally, it provides information on the AE equipment used as well as the details of the nationals’ Aeromedevac operation centres.
The manual contains 6 sections:
Aeromedical Evacuation Equipment. Make and Model.
Aeromedical Evacuation Assets.
Aeromedical Evacuation Related Documents.
Aeromedical Evacuation Units and Coordination Cells.
Aeromedical Evacuation Activities and Statistics.
Flight Surgeon Minimal Training Standards.
The EAG staff will be responsible for the introduction of all required amendments.
