Exercises / Trials
VOLCANEX is the EAG-sponsored exercise, which seeks to validate EAG interoperability projects (studies, TAs, SOPs etc). The EAG has no permanent assets and, consequently, relies on EAG Nations’ availability.
The scenario and the aim of the exercise are built together with the participating nations and the Logistics contribution differs every year according to the frame of the exercise, such as:
- Linked to a main/frame exercise (Mothia, Spring Flag, Dapex, Loyal Arrow, Bapex, etc);
- Stand-alone exercise (2007 Germany, 2008 Norway);
- Stand-alone Technical Trials or linked to a main exercise (BAR 07).
