On 7th of October 2015, Brigadier General Krieb, Director Concept & Capabilities from the European Military Staff (EUMS), paid a working visit to the EAG. During his visit Brigadier General Krieb received a presentation on the organisation of the EAG and the main projects on which it is working. The visit gave Brigadier General Krieb and Brigadier General De Ponti (Deputy Director EAG) the opportunity to discuss future collaboration potential on topics of mutual interest between the EAG and EUMS.
A Letter of Agreement (LoA) between the EUMS and the EAG, originally signed in 2013, was updated to reflect the continued good relations and to confirm the agreement for further collaboration between the two organisations. The LoA expresses the intention of the EUMS and the EAG to closely coordinate their work in order to add value to both organisations.
An example of collaboration between EAG and EUMS is the development of EU Medium Altitude Long Endurance (MALE) RPAS Operational Scenarios by the EUMS. The EAG has provided a significant support during two EUMS workshops and has developed Force Protection and Personnel Recovery scenarios.
