As part of ongoing work to promote cyber defence interoperability across the EAG air forces, EAG staff have recently completed a series of multi-national engagements, in order to strengthen relationships and add momentum to the EAG cyber domain. Within the past month, these engagements have included meetings with the NATO Cyber Defence SMART Project Leader in Lisbon, participation in the NATO Cyber Defence workshop in Brussels and attendance at a Cyber Defence Exercise in Lyon. Cyber defence is increasingly being viewed as a generic characteristic in all aspects of the EAG’s activities. It is also contributing to the initiatives currently under development through the EAG’s Interoperability in Future Combined Air Operations Project. The next scheduled events will include participation in the NATO Cyber Defence Education and Training SMART Defence Project Workshop, NATO Tide Sprint Conference, cyber defence aspects of Exercise FRISIAN FLAG and the EAG Cyber Workshop in June.
